Enrollment for each course is limited and applications are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. It is recommended that contractors not wait to see if they are awarded a contract, and then seek certification. Rather, it would be wise to obtain certification when the courses are available.

Registration is accomplished by contacting MoDOT. Enrollment will be confirmed several weeks before a session. Billing will occur after the session is complete.
The full Superpave QC/QA course lasts five days and the cost is $950. The Superpave QC/QA re-certification course lasts two days and costs $550. The HMA Aggregate Consensus Tests course, the Tensile Strength Ratio (TSR) course, and the Binder Ignition Oven course last one day and costs $250.
The registration fee includes the course notebook, other program materials, and refreshments during the breaks. Lunch is provided on the fourth day of the full Superpave QC/QA course and on the second day of the Superpave QC/QA re-certification course.
The University reserves the right to cancel its program in the event of insufficient registration or natural disaster. In the event of a course cancellation prior to the start of a course, registrations will be notified immediately and all fees will be returned in full. Persons wishing to cancel their registration must do so seven days prior to the first day of the program. However, personnel substitution can be made at any time before the course starts. "No shows" during a fully enrolled or closed course may be subject to a cancellation charge.
Professional Development Hours
For those who desire continuing education credit, approximately 36 PDH's will be awarded upon successful completion of the full Superpave QC/QA course.
Suggested Attire / What to bring?
You will be working in the materials lab daily, so dress should be appropriate to working with aggregate and asphalt. We will be running some calculations, so bring a calculator.
Because the activities that you will be engaged in are fundamental to your understanding of the course material, it will be necessary that you be in attendance during the entire course in order to become certified.
